Move cleaning is its own job. The home is empty, which means everything normally hidden by furniture is exposed and in scope: the insides of cupboards and drawers, behind appliances, closet floors, window sills.
It also runs to a deadline that is rarely yours to move. Tell us the date in your quote request and we will be straight with you about whether it can be done.
Moving out
Aimed at handover condition. Inside cupboards and drawers, appliances, bathrooms, floors, and the marks that furniture was covering.
Moving in
Cleaning a home before your things arrive, while every surface is still reachable. Far easier now than in a month.
Timing
Move cleans are scheduled around closing dates and key handovers, so they are less flexible than other work. The earlier you ask, the more likely the date is available.
Empty is better
A fully empty home cleans better and faster than one with boxes still in it. If that is not possible, say so in the quote and we will plan around it.
What is included.
- Kitchen: counters, sink, stovetop, exterior of appliances, cupboard fronts, and the floor
- Bathrooms: toilet, sink, shower and tub, mirrors, fixtures, and the floor
- Bedrooms and living areas: dusting surfaces, sills and skirting, tidying visible clutter, and floors
- Throughout: vacuuming carpets and rugs, mopping hard floors, and emptying bins
- Touch points: light switches, door handles, and bannisters
Not included as standard
These are the things people most often assume either way, so they are worth saying plainly. Any of them can be added to a visit, just ask.
- Inside the oven and fridge, unless added to the visit
- Interior windows beyond the glass in doors
- Laundry and dishes

Should the home be empty before you arrive?
Ideally yes. An empty home lets us reach everything, and it takes less time, which usually costs you less. If some things will still be there, mention it in the quote request so the estimate is accurate.
How far ahead should I book a move clean?
As early as you know your date. Move cleans are tied to closing and handover dates that cannot shift, so the available slots go first.
