A deep clean is not a regular clean done more slowly. It goes after the things a maintenance visit passes over: build up behind and under things, the inside of appliances, grout, baseboards, the parts of a home that only get attention when someone sets aside time for them.
Most homes need one at some point. After a renovation, before hosting, when a regular schedule has lapsed, or as a starting point before recurring visits begin.
When a deep clean makes sense
When the home has not been cleaned thoroughly in several months, after construction or renovation dust, before or after guests, or as the first visit ahead of a recurring schedule.

Time and reach. A deep clean budgets for the areas a regular visit cannot justify, and works on detail rather than surface.

Deep cleans vary more than any other job, so the description matters. Say which rooms have been neglected and which are fine. We would rather spend the time where you actually want it.
Deep clean, then maintain
Many clients start with a deep clean and move onto a recurring schedule afterwards, which keeps the home from needing another one.
What is included.
- Kitchen: counters, sink, stovetop, exterior of appliances, cupboard fronts, and the floor
- Bathrooms: toilet, sink, shower and tub, mirrors, fixtures, and the floor
- Bedrooms and living areas: dusting surfaces, sills and skirting, tidying visible clutter, and floors
- Throughout: vacuuming carpets and rugs, mopping hard floors, and emptying bins
- Touch points: light switches, door handles, and bannisters
Not included as standard
These are the things people most often assume either way, so they are worth saying plainly. Any of them can be added to a visit, just ask.
- Inside the oven and fridge, unless added to the visit
- Interior windows beyond the glass in doors
- Laundry and dishes
- Moving heavy furniture

How is a deep clean different from a regular clean?
A regular clean maintains a home that is already at a reasonable baseline. A deep clean establishes that baseline, which means more time, more detail, and attention to areas a maintenance visit does not reach.
Do I need a deep clean before starting recurring visits?
Not always. It depends on the state the home is in now. Describe it honestly in the quote form and Jha Jha will tell you which she thinks you need, including if that is the cheaper option.
